Loco in Elsternwick is one of Chris and my favourite cafes. It’s close by our home, does good coffee and has a great selection of breakfast & lunch dishes, including heaps of vegetarian options! I almost always get a soy latte and the pumpkin & spinach polenta bread with avocado & salsa – I’ve tried to replicate this dish at home but haven’t succeeded!

Loco is very Melbourne-trendy too, with all kinds of recycled wood tables, industrial furniture features and cute waitstaff, it’s pretty great. And it’s next to a pretty sweet bookstore.

Vintage Dress: found at Red Hand Designs in Hobart (same building as Oyster and Pearl), shoes: Melissa, bag: bought at Khao San Road market in Bangkok!

Sometimes it’s nice to just get all dressed up just for breakfast!
